Lifelong Faith Formation
St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish provides faith formation experiences for people of different ages and various stations in life. The richness of this experience depends upon parishioners who are willing to share their own faith journey with others. This can happen in a variety of ways such as, bible studies, speakers, retreats, faith sharing groups, reading materials, Advent and Lenten offerings, are provided to grow in that love. There is always a need for mentors, leaders and other volunteers in the ministries described below. Check often for information on offerings for adult faith formation.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process of welcoming people who want to be full members of the Catholic faith community. Faith-filled individuals work as a team to guide candidates on this journey. If you would like to serve as an OCIA team member, please contact Rev. Steven Bertonazzi by phone or email shown below.
Engaged couples are best prepared when they have an opportunity to spend time with happily married couples from the parish, who serve as living witnesses of the beauty and sanctity of lifelong marriage and as living connections to active parish life. Married couples involved in Marriage Ministry may serve as sponsors/mentors for the engaged, and as team couples in marriage preparation catechetical events.
