Baptisms

Congratulations on your beautiful baby!

The first step to having your baby receive the Sacrament of Baptism at St. Teresa of Calcutta is to become a member of our Parish Community. Please contact the parish office to register for the parish. If you are already a member and have not had a child baptized at St. Teresa, you will need to register for our baptism class.

Baptismal Preparation

Baptismal Preparation Classes are offered every month. Both parents should attend. The sessions discuss the responsibilities and challenges of being Catholic parents, the importance of staying close to the parish community, the history and theology of the sacrament and the symbols and ritual of Baptism.

The sessions are offered the second Monday of every month at 7:00 PM in Good Shepherd School Cafeteria.  Please call the Parish Office to register for the class.

Baptisms are celebrated on Sunday at 12:30 PM in St. John's Church. We also encourage parents to have their child baptized within the 11am mass. Contact the Parish Office to make the arrangements.
